Choose Your Future Be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. Matthew 24:44
Many people believe that we are entering the final chapter of human history and that Jesus will return soon. That's a sobering thought, for though the Bible provides a glimpse of heavenly bliss and goodness that surpasses comprehension, it also predicts earthly scenes of incredible bloodshed, horror, and death. If you have trusted Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you can have confidence about the future. A day is coming, perhaps soon, when the Lord will return to you. Then you will return with Christ to share in His millennial rule. You will live with Him in a new world forever in a life of joy and fulfilment. BUT if you are not a Christian, the future is not so promising. The wrath of God will be poured out on the earth, in a time of terrible war, disease, and famine. Beyond that lies the second death-a fate every bit as real for the unbeliever as heaven is for the person who trusts in Christ. The countdown time continue. The time of opportunity is now. Make your decision. Trust Christ today. Believing that He died to pay the penalty for your sins, ask Him to save you and your family. Only then will your future be secure both in this life and in the ages to come. Jesus says: Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20 How to receive Christ? Admit your need (I am a sinner), Be willing to turn from your sins(repent), Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave, Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit and say this simple prayer of faith: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Saviour. In Jesus' name Amen. |
